This pad is designed to be a staple that provides a comfortable fit for most horses to keep the saddle up off the wither. Heavy felt center with a durable Cordura top layer fabric, and non-slip comfort material bottom layer.

We worked with a small manufacturer in the USA to develop the Red Leaf Originals line of comfort pads. This is just a good basic staple that puts your horse's comfort first, with a lasting design using high quality materials that provides a good value. 

I've tried so many pads over the years. Those that are affordable had fit and quality issues, often made with cheap materials. Those that fit well and offer solid durability cost $300-$500CAD. I like to replace my pad annually and have one pad for each horse, so I really needed something that meets in the middle.
